"HARDCORE HOCKEY" TO PARTICIPATE IN KIDS FITNESS EXPO TO SUPPORT THE LEUKEMIA & LYMPHOMA SOCIETY
What:        Kids Fitness Expo
When: June 8, 2008, 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Where: Fitwize 4 Kids, 20921 Davenport Drive at Regal Center, Sterling, Va.
Who:  Dan Cole and Two Degrees of Difference
Why:  Fundraising Support for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
During the Kids Fitness Expo on June 8th, kids and their families can enjoy stick handling by Hardcore Hockey Instructors from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. To further motivate kids to get and stay healthy, the expo will feature dance and cheerleading performances by All Star Legacy and soccer demonstrations by Brazilian Such Soccer. Plus kids can participate in obstacle courses by Fitwize 4 Kids and take blood pressure, bone density and body fat tests by INOVA Mobile Services. The expo also will collect money to raise awareness about blood cancers, the leading disease killer of Americans under 20. Produced by Dan Cole and his team, Two Degrees of Difference, the Kids Fitness Expo fundraising will go to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). The LLS has nominated Cole to be a candidate for the Society's Man & Woman of the Year campaign. Money raised during Cole's campaign events benefits the LLS' mission to cure blood cancers and to improve the quality of life for patients and their families.

About Two Degrees of Difference:As part of the LLS Man & Woman of the Year Campaign, Two Degrees of Difference comprises some 30 individuals joined together to raise money for the cure of cancer. Dan Cole, our Man of the Year candidate for the National Capital Area Chapter, leads the campaign. Cole has run successful fundraising campaigns for the past two years. His 2008 campaign runs April 10-June 14. More campaign information and donation links can be found on the team's website, www.twodegrees.org.
